  • 250 gms soft brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 250 gms plain flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 115 gms milk chocolate chips
  • 115 gms white chocolate chips

Method

  • Place the butter and brown sugar in a bowl and beat with electric beaters until thick and pale.
  • Add the vanilla extract and egg, then continue to beat until just combined.
  • Fold in the flour and baking powder.
  • Stir through the dark and white chocolate chips.
  • Roll into 24 balls and place well apart on baking trays.
  • Place into a preheated oven at 170ºC and bake for 14 minutes.
