Peanut Cookies
Ingredients
- 395 gm tin condensed milk
- 170 gms peanut butter
- 85 gms currants
- 6 Weetabix
- 1 tbl milk
Method
- Beat the condensed milk and peanut butter together.
- Mix in the currants and milk.
- Crumble the weetabix and stir into the condensed milk, peanut butter and currant mixture.
- Place small mounds onto a greased baking tray and place into a preheated oven at 180ºC for 15-20 minutes.
My Grandma always had a jar of peanut cookies in the house for my uncle. We loved helping to cook them as we got to lick the spoon with the condensed milk on it. This recipe reminds me of my Grandma and all the wonderful times we had together.
